We believe in the New Testament teaching of full immersion water baptism, withour first example being Jesus Christ, also followed by His disciples according toJesus commission and put into practice throughout the book of Acts and the earlychurch. It seems proper to say that when baptism is properly carried out, it bringsspiritual benefit to believers. There is the blessing of God’s favor that comes withobedience as well as the joy that comes through public profession of one’s faith,and the reassurance of having a clear physical picture of dying and rising withChrist and washing away sins.(Matthew 3:16, Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:3)
